Barn Fire Near North Second Avenue
Firemen answered a call at 2 40 pm to a barn behind a vacant house on North Second Avenue. The blaze was extinguished quickly. The vacant house has not housed residents since early March. The owner is reported to live at Strong Heart Illinois. Mr and Mrs George Greiner and son Bernard of Keota shopped here today with mounted drill. The troop plans a summer of hard work ending with the annual Camp Dodge camp in late August.
