Science winners named at school. Projects by 69 students were cited for honors at the Washington Junior High School Science Fair Monday night. The exhibits were judged by six senior science students from Mid-Prairie High School, accompanied by their teacher S S Statler.

Five Year Terms Set In District Court Actions
Judge Ira Morrison presided as several defendants faced prison or probation. Rocky Lee Scott received a five year term at Anamosa for aiding and concealing stolen property over 20 dollars and 60 days in Washington County jail for marijuana possession. Thomas Eugene Knerr got a five year term at Anamosa for malicious injury to a building, suspended and placed on probation. Greggory J. Karr earned a five year suspended sentence at Anamosa for aiding and concealing stolen goods and was fined 600 dollars for marijuana possession. Carroll F. Sleichter was fined 300 dollars for operating while under the influence and ordered to take a Kirkwood Community College drinking drivers course. Teddy James Te Bockhurst had a possession charge dismissed.

The Iowa Restaurant Association and the Association for Retarded Children team up for Coffee Day Friday in Washington County restaurants. Coffee on the house prompts donations for Iowa's 84,000 mentally challenged men, women, and children, funds used for rehab equipment. Last year Iowa raised about 27000 dollars.

Rebozo Secret Meeting With Watergate Panel Over Hughes Funds
Senate Watergate Committee met in secret with Charles G. Rebozo, Nixon ally, regarding a $100,000 Hughes donation. Rebozo, who had kept funds in a safe deposit box for years, said he believed the money supported Nixon's 1972 bid and that Hughes associate Richard Danner urged acceptance. He testified he never counted the cash or recorded receipts and that only Rose Woods knew of the money at the time.
