Funeral services for Bertha H. Cheese age 89 were conducted at Sherman Eden Funeral Home and at United Presbyterian Church Lenox. She died Wednesday afternoon and was buried in Fairview Cemetery Lenox. Born October 29 1874 in Benton County Iowa she lived here since 1962 and belonged to Marion Avenue United Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star.

County Heart Fund audit shows $3387 total
T M Nelson, chairman of the Washington County Heart Unit, announced the first audit of funds in the 1964 Heart Fund Campaign on March 11. Ex-A-bomb pilot held in grocery robbery case
