Iowa Press association opens 26th annual convention
The Iowa Press association began its 26th annual convention at Hotel Fort Des Moines this morning with over 200 Iowa newspapers represented and more than 950 officials and newsroom staff expected over two days. Brig. Gen. George W. Strong of Omaha Neb addressed the opening on America's Defense Requirements, as Sigma Delta Chi aimed to award four newspapers with recognition trophies.
