Shenandoah youth still missing in Iowa search
West central Iowa authorities reported no new clues in the weekend search for 17 year old Dennis Lloyd a Shenandoah High junior and sports photographer for the Shenandoah Evening Sentinel who vanished after taking his date home to Malvern February 27. Police and highway patrol conducted road and township searches Mills and Page Counties while a Atlantic region patrol plane scouted the area. Officials believed Lloyd disappeared of his own accord.

Iowa project delays stretch into several years as $300000 in state funds for the Snyder Bend Winneba recreation area near Sioux City are returned to the general fund amid court challenges over land ownership.
