Bride and widow wed in hours as man dies

In Danville Illinois a 24 year old woman from Kankakee married William James Lane Milligan after a rush marriage license. Milligan died from stomach congestion minutes after the ceremony and his body was sent to Toronto Canada. Milligan had been a traveling representative for FE C Halpine Co. of New York. The bride also left town. details remain hushed and Milligan is said to have once been a British army captain.

McCoy touts 65000 to fight any man Ruhlin first in line

Kid McCoy says after returning from Hot Springs he has 65000 ready to meet any challenger with Ruhlin set as his first opponent. He adds his brother will fight Billy Madden in Cincinnati next Wednesday and will post 5000 cash there to back the challenge.

Two Men Roasted Alive in Santa Eulalia Mine Fire
