John Waldo Brown of Rock Island formerly of Keota was found dead in his Rock Island home likely from a heart attack. He was born August 27 1881 in Keota and married Elsie Barbour July 3 1926. He leaves Myrtle and Helen in Des Moines, son Carl in Rock Island, brother Bert in Keota, and sister Mrs Myrtle Striegel of Harper. He worked for Service Rubber for 20 years and was a member of the Christian church. Burial with full military rights held at Rock Island Arsenal cemetery.
