Pigs and calves burned on Lincoln area farm
About 55 pigs and calves two years old were killed when a shed and a tractor burned on Oral Norman’s farm five miles northwest of Washington. Mrs. Mary Gimbel of Lincoln owns the farm. Neighbors helped save nearby buildings after a 4 a.m. blaze. The cause is unknown.
