Winter family takes up residence at Crawfordsville Manse
The Rev Harlan W Winter his wife and two daughters Sharla Kaye and Trisha Joy moved into the United Church of Crawfordsville Manse from Hudson where he led the United Methodist Church for eight years He will conduct his first service on June 29 Other social notes include visits by Edith Canott and Martha from Iowa City and Don Canott’s Portage family plus a Branson Mo vacation by Dr and Mrs Jim Jewell and children with fishing water sports and Silver Dollar City sightseeing.

The Social Security Administration IA official says basic supplemental security income will increase in July. For singles the monthly, in household living recipients rise from 146 to 157.70 dollars and couples from 219 to 236.60 dollars. No action by recipients is needed as increases are automatic.
