Lynn Allens Host to The Military Road Club
The Military Road club was entertained last Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Allen. Cards and visiting were the entertainment for the evening. Home made ice cream, cake and coffee were served and there was an abundance of ice cream for everyone. The next meeting will be with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Thompson and will be a fried chicken supper. The committee will be Mrs. Clifford Thompson, Mrs. Edward Miller and Mrs. Richard Knupp.

Rosemary Club Holds Surprise Breakfast at Mrs. Cherry's Home
Sixteen members of the Rosemary club gathered for a Wednesday breakfast at the home of Mrs. John Cherry. Mrs. Lloyd Foster and Mrs. B. Walker helped serve and escort guests. Some members enjoyed the garden while others prepared the noon meal. bridge was played at two tables.

Surprise birthday party for Harriet Kunik
Harriet Kunik turned thirteen with a surprise party Tuesday afternoon at her home. Friends played games and hunted for a scavenger hunt then shared a picnic supper. Attendees included Beverly Wolfe Maxine Crone Ardith Wead Karen Engle Barbara Kay Janet Graf Shirley Askea and Marlene Blick. Out of town guests were Goldene Doverman from Iowa City and Sylvia Friedman from Cleveland Ohio.

The Navajo club met at E E Stutsman home for a cooperative picnic Wednesday noon with 15 members and two guests present. The afternoon was spent visiting and it was decided not to hold further meetings until next fall.
