Ames Man to Judge Livestock in Canada
Ames DeAn H. H. Kildee of the agricultural division at lows State college will enter Canadian livestock arenas this summer to judge at two large expositions. At the Saskatoon Industrial exposition, July 22 27, Kildee will judge classes of Ayrshire Jersey Guernsey and Polted cattle. During the Regina Agricultural and Industrial exposition, July 29 to Aug 3, he will judge Percheron horses and Holstein Priesau cattle.

YMCA Pool To Close For Cleaning Two Days

Paving Planned On North Second Avenue Monday
At North Second avenue crews expect to begin pouring concrete for the new pavement next Monday if weather permits. Work starts at the south end near the underpass with equipment and forms ready. The William Horrabin Company of Iowa City is performing the paving, which covers North Second avenue past the city limits and a diagonal cross-over to a section north of Marion Avenue as part of primary road No. 1.

To Meet Indoors If Weather Bad Sunday

Youth Boys League Forming With Delights in Play
A youth boys league for ages ten to fourteen is being organized with games on Tuesdays at Stewart and Thursdays at Lincoln. Leo Lewis and Dale Palmer head two teams and two more are hoped.
