Society Notes Highlight 1920s Philadelphian Weddings and Parties
A flurry of social notices from Philadelphia details Leah Premia and Glen A. Duncan’s June wedding at the bride’s parents’ home with guests including W. S. Duncan and others. The report covers a Perkins Avenue gathering, a church choir reception, and a three course meal with a toast by Prof. AL Owen. Other items note Miss Mik et L. Anderson and Maurice FE. Bauer’s June 23 ceremony in Salem, Mass., with remarks on graduates and M.C. A. and W.C. A. affiliations. Several gatherings from Washington and nearby towns run through the piece, including theater parties, a two year old birthday, and a high tea at the McCreedy home with elaborate floral decorations.
