A noon Friday plant dinner marked the final day of operation for Advance Ross Electronics Corporation Washington plant before a two week vacation shutdown. The event included a full semi load of television parts destined for Admiral Corporation in Chicago for 19 and 23 inch sets, the largest shipment to date this year. Four long time employees will receive two weeks paid vacations, while twenty six others get one week. The plant reopens July 8 with full production.

Burglars Take Little From Waco Drive-In
Waco burglars broke into the Waco Drive-In Theater last night but left with little loot. Manager Clarence Locke reported only a few cents missing from the register after breaking through an outside door and the office door. the theater safe was empty.
