Dear Aunt Agatha weekly Washington notes
The week in Washington covers rustler incidents near Brighton, a 40 acre Crane Co factory lease near town, and start of construction planned for 1968. Weather memories include record cold in 1905 and 113 degrees in 1936, plus heavy 1930 and 1951 rainfalls. Visitors from Argentina and Thailand depart, a South Avenue D house move falls off its undercarriage, water mains break prompts repairs, hydrants to be replaced, and crops show good progress with rain hopes fading.
