Catherine Baker daughter of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Baker of Batavia Washington and Richard Lauderdale son of Mr and Mrs Hollis Lauderdale of Winfield were married June 21 in the First Christian Church Washington The Rev Carlyle Smith officiated The ceremony featured pink bows lilies of the valley and a bridal gown with lace and nylon sheer The couple will reside in Ft Carson Colorado A reception followed for about 200 guests

Bride Dixie Jean Horak Weds John Walling In Washington
Miss Dixie Jean Horak daughter of Mr and Mrs Mela Horak of Washington became the bride of John Walling son of Mr and Mrs Carlos Walling also of Washington in a 6 pm ceremony Monday June 19 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Washington Rev Dennis Stutrud officiated. The bride wore pink ice chiffon over taffeta with white accessories and a pearl necklace. Barbara Kron of Washington attended the ceremony in a white nylon embroidered dress with white accessories. Best man was Dennis Horak and spectators were seated by Stuart Kolosick and Arlynne Kolosick. Decorations featured pink and white gladiolus. A reception for 33 guests followed at Kalona Town House with a pink white wedding cake. The couple will reside at 1114 2 North Iowa after a trip to the Ozarks. Walling works at White House Dairy in Washington.
