Keota Youth Dies After Highway 92 Crash Near Keota
James Heisdorffer 20 of rural Keota died in Mercy Hospital Iowa City from injuries suffered when his eastbound car collided with a 2 1/2 ton truck on Highway 92 west of Keota. Driver Carl Luthjai 41 of Michigan was uninjured. Funeral arrangements pending. Rescue crews freed Heisdorffer after nearly an hour. The wreck damaged three new trucks and occurred as storms disrupted phone lines in the area.

Frank Pribyl 87 Kalona Resident Dies After Illness
Frank Pribyl 87 of Kalona died at home Sunday after a lingering illness. Funeral services are set for Tuesday June 21 1960 at 2 p.m. at Kalona Methodist Church with Rev C Dendy Garrett officiating and burial in Richmond Community Cemetery. He was born September 1 1872 in Washington County daughter of Joseph and Mary Kohili Seiby and spent life as a farmer in Kalona moving there in 1924. Survivors include his widow one son two grandchildren Gary and Jean Wriby plus lodge membership. one daughter two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
