Mrs Thompson Dies After Long Illness In Washington Area
Mrs J A Thompson died after long illness at her son Howard McCreedy's home three miles southeast of Washington. Funeral services will be at her other son H J McCreedy's home on East Jefferson Street at 10 30 Friday morning, pastor Dr A W Henke officiating. Burial in Elm Grove cemetery. Born March 10 1858, she lived mainly in the area, was twice married first to George Mecreedy who died in 1886, then to Dr J A Thompson who died in 1908. Survived by two sons, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a daughter Mrs Else Love who died in 1913. Ralph Minick of Washington is helping with the new Stuart Town telephone building.
