Antony J Kallaus Dies After Hip Injury at Home
Anthony J. Kallaus died yesterday at his South Marion Avenue home at five. He had been in poor health since a hip fracture a year and a half ago. Born June 12, 1850, he married Anna Luksky in 1872 and lived on a farm north of town before moving to Washington 18 years ago. Mrs Kallaus died three years ago in April. Surviving: four children Edd Emma Shalla Anna Havel and May Carlson. seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at the L A Jones funeral home.
