Man Born Here Dies At 74 In Atlantic
Guy Swires 74, longtime city mail carrier and Elks member, died at home 404 Elm Street at 4 p m Thursday from heart and liver complications. Born April 6 1862 in Washington Iowa he moved to Cass County in 1876 and to Atlantic in 1888 retiring from the postal service in 1923.
