Harness dealers hail horse revival in Iowa
Des Moines reports farmers find horses and mules more economical than tractors and autos as the Iowa Harness Makers’ association notes a rise in horse use. Secretary Frank Proescholdt says despite highway traffic and crops, $50 harness dealers persist and horse power sustains farm income, opposing mechanized decline. Units No. 2 and 10 of the M.
