A complete movie set for Red Dog was erected near Lone Pine California to film sequences. A large tent city housing about four hundred cast and crew was built out of sight of cameras to support Warner Bros on location including stars John Boles Vivienne Segal Marion Byrdie Joe E Brown and others with a chorus of one hundred.
