Maureen Scherrer became the bride of Leonard Wayne Corpman in a double ring ceremony at St Marys Catholic Church Riverside on June 7 1975 Rev W F Boeckmann officiated. Attendants wore pastel voile gowns and bridesmaids carried white wicker baskets. A reception for 200 followed at St Marys Hall. The couple will begin at Central College with jobs at Pierson Seed Producers.
Webelo scouts of troop 242 enjoyed an overnight campout at Lake McBride from Saturday noon to Sunday evening. They swam fished hiked and collected rocks and shells with attending fathers and troop leaders including Jonn Beenblossom Sr. Bob Wolf Marvin Gier LaVerne Zieglowsky Lou Pailliotet and den chiefs Billy Baker Dale Turner.
