Benson Warns Farmers Not to Expect Drought Aid
Agriculture Secretary Ezra Taft Benson cautioned farmers that the new 1.2 billion soil bank plan offers no drought relief. His remarks came after a Midwest tour and at a farm city meeting in Beaver Dam Wisconsin, where he hinted program ambition may be reduced.
