Death Takes John Thompson Aged 70
John Thompson aged about seven died yesterday after two weeks illness. He lived at 603 North Seventh avenue and will be buried after services planned by Sherman’s funeral home. Born in the Gladwin area north of Ainsworth he moved to Washington in 1912. Surviving are brothers A D Thompson of Ainsworth Frank and Robert of Highland township with two brothers and two sisters deceased. Lioye Conger had his tonsils removed today at Washington county hospital.

Young Wife Dies in Farm Barn Fire Suicide Suspected
Mrs. Lewis Prymek 48 was found dead in a barn at the Prymek farm eleven miles northeast of Washington in Highland township after a fire started around 6 30 am. Coroner Dr W S Kyle ruled it a suicide due to mental health decline amid a nervous breakdown. She had planned to see a doctor in Iowa City and had reportedly carried kerosene to the barn in a small milk can. The Prymek family and neighbors aided in the dangerous search amid burning hay and straw. funeral arrangements are pending with Riverside Undertaker.
