New Silo Trialed On Dan Guy Farm Near Brighton
The Guy Brothers built a porcelain covered steel Harvestore silo one mile west of Sandy Hook on the Brighton road. It stores about 225 tons of silage in a 17 by 40 foot unit, is air tight, electrically operated with six feed arms, and cost about 5500 dollars including foundation. The silo aims to prevent spoilage and is part of a regional expansion with two more silos under construction nearby.
