Mrs Fanny Janes Orr widow of Edward Orr died at 10 30 last night at her South Ninth avenue home after a recent decline in health. Funeral services set for Friday at 2 pm at L A Jones funeral home. Born December 3 1874 near Crawfordsville she leaves five children two of whom died in infancy four other children and four stepchildren along with a sister brother and half sister. She was a Presbyterian church member and known as a devoted mother.

Tragic Crash Kills William Boy Near Cedar Rapids

Big plane crashes into Boston Harbor
A Ford tri motor airliner with 15 aboard crashed into Boston Harbor after an engine cut out at about 100 feet. One passenger, Pearl S.
