Wellman High Graduates Bride Announces Marriage
After commencement at Wellman high school Miss Jeanette Wade announced the marriage of Jeanette Wade to Richard Scott. The ceremony occurred January 25, 1936 at the Methodist parsonage in Kahoka Missouri. The couple, accompanied by Wade Pence and his wife, left for Chicago where Scott entered Heaphill School of Diesel Engineering. They reside at 2139 Cleveland Ave Chicago. Mrs Scott is the daughter of Vera Wade Turnipseed and a Wellman High School graduate of 1886. Scott is the son of Orvie and Mrs Scott and a Washington High School Class of 1936 graduate. The P W G club met with 14 members for a pot luck dinner and planned the next meeting for the park if weather allows.
