Pork Producers turn out 5000 porkburgers for county events
Washington County Pork Producers and Porkettes in Kalona have been turning 15 hogs weekly into 5000 porkburgers using a Robert Rust ISU recipe. The burgers, 85 percent lean, will be given away at the Washington County Fair Aug 2 and showcased at local centennials and events.
