Annular Eclipse Dazzles Broad North American Viewers
Old Sol paused for a brief eclipse observed across the United States and parts of Canada Mexico Central America the Caribbean and northern South America. Professors Lead Ornithology Class in Woods Visit
Professors Black and Talman of the Normal Institute led an ornithology class to the woods yesterday. Several birds were captured and an engaging lesson followed on their return. Mrs. R. T. McCall and Mrs. Lizzie Anderson returned home from Keokuk today. Mrs. McCall remains weak after treatment for a perforated eardrum.
