Threshing to Start Next Week on Local Farm

A thresher was started today on the Sam Hollman farm along the Sigourney road as farmers prepare for a full harvest season. Threshing is expected to be in full force by next week.

Six July licenses to wed hint slow summer for marriages

O G Wilson finished replacing the old suction pipe and installing new air compressors on two wells. He cut pipe in the new well to double water supply. He heads to Marshalltown tonight for a contract. In Meda he struck water at 600 feet yielding 1000 gallons daily of soft water.
