Parsons Withdraws Suit Against Accrediting Body
Parsons College moved to drop its court action seeking to block the North Central Association from withdrawing accreditation. Dr Norman Burns of the NCA said accreditation would end immediately with withdrawal of the injunction motion. Parsons acting president Dr William Munson said the school hopes recognition by professionals will align with the NCA. Parsons’ legal representative G Gale Roberson filed the withdrawal petition in U S District Court. A spokesman provided no further comment.
