One Dead and Eight Hurt in Bus Car Collision
A Greyhound bus rammed a packed automobile on highway 42 near Sheboygan Wisconsin killing Mrs Virginia Beyer Jr and injuring eight others in serious condition. Four car occupants remain in critical condition and the cruiser says the bus overturned after crossing the intersection. Greyhound officials are investigating.

Lawrence Shelangoski five of Brighton died after a prolonged illness at the children's hospital in Iowa City. He was born September 7, 1944 in Brighton. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at St Josephs church Mast Pleasant Plain with Rev Paul Wetstein officiating and burial nearby. A rosary will be held Monday at the Omer Hoskins funeral home in Brighton. He is survived by his parents two brothers James and Robert and grandfather Peter Shelangoski.

Two traffic crashes over the weekend in Washington left four residents with minor injuries. Pail liotet of Riverside drove off an embankment at TT junction. his vehicle rolled after striking a fence. In Ainsworth Junction a rear impact occurred when Garnet Jackson of Davenport hit Shirley Salter, with a truck obscuring the stop sign. Damages were listed at 60 and 100 dollars. Officers from the Washington County sheriff investigated both incidents.
