Des Moines reports that Iowa law enforcement may need sling shots as ammunition factories shift to military munitions. The Iowa State Sheriffs association urges officers to petition Congress for immediate police ammunition stock, noting police calibers 38 and 45 and higher rifle shotgun rounds.
