Eldora 24 year old Everett Neundorf son of Mr and Mrs Edward Neundorf drowned while swimming in the Iowa river under the high bridge east of town. His body was recovered by Jack Crosser about half an hour later from 15 feet of water. Rescue squads led by Dr D M Nyquist and Supt O Peterson of Memorial hospital worked over him more than an hour but could not revive him.
