St Anthony Circle Holds July Meeting at St James Church
St Anthony Circle of St James church met last evening at Mrs Joe Tobin's home with 16 members plus Father Corcoran and Mrs Shoreley of Chicago. Mrs Hubert Walker gave the secretary treasurer report. Plans were laid for an August ice cream social. Kate Shalla won high in bridge. Mrs Anna Witting won at pinochle and Lucy Sampson at checkers. Refreshments followed.

Just Us Club Guests At Mrs Loveless July Meeting
Thirteen members of the Just Us club met yesterday afternoon at Mrs. L L Loveless home for a July gathering. Hostess daughter Marjorie and two grandchildren attended as visitors. A picnic at Sunset Park was planned for two weeks hence with Mrs B G Griggs and Mrs John Caldwell named to the picnic committee. The mystery friend who presented a gift to Mrs Loveless was revealed as Mrs L K Harding. Mrs John Dodd and Mrs Harding led the afternoon's entertainment with several contests. Mrs Griggs won the flower contest, receiving a potted plant, and Mrs William Beggs won a glass of raspberry jam for the stone face contest. Seasonal refreshments followed, served by the hostess, her daughter, and Mrs W C McFadden.
