Vacation memories and travel notes from a Texas trip
A Richardson visit recounts a Fourth of July trip to Galveston and NASA with friends Clarence and Eileen Wilson. They sailed from Texas City, endured crowded rooms, observed fishing boats and a massive Maipura ship, and returned home to chores and local weather. The writer laments friends’ deaths and ends with a recipe for a cool drink.
