Washington man in serious condition after Iowa crash
Dean Lintz, 24, of Washington, is in serious condition at University Hospitals in Iowa City after a one car crash Friday evening in Washington County. Deputies say he was southbound on Highway 1 at high speed, lost control, crossed the center line, veered left, and left the road into a farm field near the Izaak Walton League clubhouse seven miles south of Washington. He was charged with failure to have control of his vehicle.

Four car crash on South Avenue B injures parked vehicles
Teddy J. Te Bockhorst of Washington drove a four car incident that damaged a Lynn J. Slagel owned car by about 700 dollars after it hit a Martha Boshart parked car and pushed it into a Robert Roe vehicle. Police arrived Saturday at 7 30 p m and charged Te Bockhorst with failure to control the vehicle. Boshart car damage listed at 150 dollars and Roe car 25 dollars.

Washington men charged with disturbing the peace
