A two story brick building housing His ins Super Market in Keokuk was set ablaze in the early hours, believed caused by a lightning strike on a nearby transformer. Fireman Donald Jenkins suffered the most serious injuries, a wall collapse injuring three colleagues. By mid morning two firefighters were released while two remained hospitalized.
