Mandolin nostalgia and midwestern festival chatter

A reader nostalgically recalls mandolins, old tunes like Over The Waves, and the revival of mandolin interest sparked by memories of the Bay area. The piece wanders through reflections on attic instruments, camping party scenes, and a July Keota parade with Sigourney Saddle Club, then shifts to musings on old food preservation, canning, and new kitchen conveniences. The tone blends personal memory with local event notes and light social commentary.
