Board of Education set to review budget and hear costs
The Washington Community School District board meets at 7 30 p m in the senior high library for the first meeting of the new fiscal year. They will consider a rough draft of the 1974 75 budget, set a date for a budget hearing, review transportation costs, and discuss gasoline and fuel oil contracts. The meeting will also cover routine steps for the new year. In Rockwell, fire chief Russell Reimers reports a Thursday blaze destroyed four businesses with an estimated total loss of 180000 dollars, including 110000 in structural damage and 70000 in contents.
