Bicycle Parade Delights Town as July Races Loom

News of the day reports a successful Bicycle Parade with fifty nine riders. The Fourth of July race at the Fair Grounds pits Jerry Curran George Ross and Frank Brindley in a highlight event. A party of young people, including Misses Jennie Smith Nora Hise Emma Miller and Lucy Burroughs, plans a day on the Skunk riverbank amid beer shipments found along rail lines.

Washington County Civic Notes and Fishing Expedition Crew

Knoxville College Glee Club to Perform at Second U P Church

The Knoxville College Glee Club will give a concert Monday evening in Knoxville Tennessee under the Board of Freedmen's Missions. Nine colored singers will perform old and new plantation melodies and humorous pieces. Admission is 25 cents, children 15 cents.
