Training Camps Open for Citizens Military Program

Roof Fire at Helwick Home Warns Against Burning Waste
A roof fire at the O. K. Helwick residence on East Washington Street around 2 46 PM was put out quickly by the fire department. Mrs. Helwick blamed burning paper in the furnace and warned others after last night’s rain encouraged waste paper burning.
