Bride of Robert McClurg Weds Kathleen Ballou in Iowa Ceremony
Kathleen Ballou of Washington and Kathleen Mallow of Ft Dodge wed Robert McClurg of Hartford Wis in a 2 PM June 30 United Methodist Church ceremony. Rev M O Smith and Rev Dr C W Tompkins officiated. The couple’s reception followed for 150 guests at Captain's Table. The bride, secretary at Friendship Haven Ft Dodge, and groom, an Iowa State Univ. graduate serving in the army, plan a short honeymoon.

Sandra Joy Magdefrau of Wayland became the bride of Kenneth P Bear of Marshalltown in an eight o'clock ceremony Saturday June 29 at Wayland Mennonite Church. The Rev Roy Wingate officiated. The bride wore an organza lace gown with a detachable veil, and carried red roses and stephanotis. A reception for 250 followed. the couple will reside in Marshalltown after a honeymoon in the Ozarks.
