Bosses Night honors Minick Proctor at Jaycee event
The eleventh Bosses Night and Outstanding Young Man of the Year Banquet by the Washington Junior Chamber of Commerce was held at St. James School. Leon Hillman presented the 1963 Distinguished Service Award to Mrs. Keith Proctor for her late husband, former Jaycees president, and Raymond Minick was named Boss of the Year. Frank Nye and others spoke on Jaycee history and future. About 125 attendees. The Cedar Rapids area community also noted YMCA youth program work at a separate United Presbyterian meeting on Monday February 3.

Tommy Schockey four year old son of the Gary Schockeys of Colorado Springs disappeared from the Riverside area after a visit with his grandparents. A frantic search continues with no trace found. The boy is the oldest of three Shockey children and relatives have returned to Colorado.
