Agnes Ferguson aged 92 died at the Washington county home at 7 30 this morning. The Wellman resident had lived there many years with daughter Mrs Isaac Lindsey who died last June. Funeral plans were indefinite. She leaves a Des Moines daughter, a New York daughter, and a son at Moline.
Edmonton Alberta report estimates total wool production for the past season at about 3.2 million pounds, slightly below the 1931 figure, reflecting steady industry output in the province.
In Des Moines on January 30 the Iowa House blocked moves to pursue the impeachment of J W Long former State auditor. A motion to consider Governor Dan Turner’s recommendation on Long was defeated 60 to 34 after a stir. The chamber went into executive session amid talk of emergency farm relief legislation and a foreclosure exemption bill.

Kalona resident John Grecian is in Washington County Hospital with a severely injured neck and a cut hand after his car slid on slick mud on a corner, plunged into a ditch, and overturned. He was admitted about six o clock last night with injuries expected to allow discharge this evening. In town, Jesse Moore’s Chevrolet suffered heavy damage after colliding with an unlit parked car on South Iowa Avenue near the T. L. Brookhart residence. the other vehicle had a flat tire and belonged to Will Spera.
Six groups of young people from Happy Hour answered questions on church youth programs roles of schools and community organizations. Clyde Brown John Hughes and Mrs. Manton Hebner picked the best responses while Leigh Soule, Ernest Simpson, Milan Thompson and Eva Diller led activities and singing.

Washington delegates report that the Institute of American Meat Packers opposed the domestic allotment plan for farm relief. G S Swift of Chicago told the Senate Agriculture Committee the proposed price supports would force sure glut of hogs and ruin the farmers market for pork. He warned producers and packers face a bad situation with any maximum price law and noted breeding has already begun this year.
Ralph Waters aged 44 died at 8 30 p m Saturday after a cerebral hemorrhage while being rushed to a hospital He was born August 3 1888 in Eureka vicinity and spent most of his life in Washington with brief stays in Idaho and military service in World War I Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 8 30 a m at L A Jones funeral home Rev Carl W Klein will officiate Burial will follow in Eureka cemetery He is survived by a sister Mrs Roy Waggoner Fairfield and two brothers Sam and Oscar both of the area
The Washington Little Symphony will perform a half hour prelude tomorrow night at the high school auditorium. Prelude begins at 7 30 with the operetta at 5. Music by the orchestra also between acts. The Junto College quartet will entertain between two acts. The operetta Once in a Blue Moon runs three acts with a prologue. Reserved seats available at MacDaniel's drug store. Special lighting effects and a large moon prop arranged.
A large audience at the United Presbyterian church enjoyed a dramatization of Paul before Agrippa last evening replacing secular worship. Harvey Coulter played Paul with other youth in key roles. Effective settings costumes and music enhanced the performance. Charles Owen delivered an excellent introduction. All participants performed splendidly.
The delinquent tax sale was adjourned until March 27. Only about six would be bidders, all agreeing to defer. County treasurer Marion George said taxes are being paid daily on advertised property and the delinquent list is shrinking.
Berne Enslin was home this weekend from Iowa City where he attends the University of Iowa.
About 1,860 needy children will attend a Dallas theatre Christmas party hosted by the Dallas Salesmanship Club. The event aims to bring holiday cheer to youngsters from needy homes.

Depositors sign waivers preserving 60 percent of each deposit in the bank for up to three years with 2 percent interest payable semi annually.
