Turner seeks action on constitutional change over Miranda ruling
A National Attorneys General Association panel may urge action on Richard Turner's proposal to amend the U S Constitution to expand police questioning latitude. The proposal aims to overturn the Miranda ruling of 1966, which requires informing suspects of rights and counsel. Turner's view is that rights are assumed under the Constitution. Democrats set delegate ratios for the May and June conventions, each exceeding 3000 delegates. Iowa GOP chair Jack Warren aims for a 3000000 budget and Kenneth Fulk notes Page County supporters backing his run for governor.
