Ole Johnson, who claimed the title of Iowa's oldest man and held proof of age, died before 7 p.m. Tuesday at 105. He had been comatose after weeks of bedrest and passed at his daughter Hannah Voss's home near Sioux Rapids. His 105th birthday party, planned August 12, was missed due to rain and illness with many descendants attending Linn Grove Lutheran church celebrations.
