First German POWs arrive at Clarinda Prison Camp
The first contingent of German prisoners of war arrived at the Clarinda internment camp Monday night, announced Lt Col Arthur Lobdell. About 5 000 prisoners are expected to be housed there for the war, with the camp undergoing work to prepare for arrivals.
