Two Trucks Damaged In Accident West of Washington
Two semi trucks were damaged on Highway 92 seven miles west of Washington after one driver turned into the rear of the other to avoid an approaching passenger car. John Wilkening of Sigourney drove west, stalled on an icy hill, and Howard Brewster attempted to pass before colliding. Damage was estimated at 600 dollars by the sheriff's office. In district court Judge Frank Bechly revoked the suspended 10 year sentence of Joseph Vogel of Harper for forgery, and Vogel will be taken to Amosa to begin serving.
