Iowa drunken driving program enrolls 1271 in 114 classes
Des Moines reports more than 1,200 people were enrolled in special classes in the last 10 months of 1973 after drunken driving convictions. DPI notes 1271 individuals attended 114 classes in area community colleges and vocational schools statewide. Judges assign offenders to OMVAI courses to reduce alcohol related traffic offenses.
